Siren Suicide by Ksenia Anske Review.

Ksenia AnskeSiren Suicides is a three part novel about a troubled girl, named Ailene, who commits suicide and becomes a siren. Ailene just turned 16 and wants to leave her domineering woman hating father. However the skeletons in her fathers closet comes out to haunt her. She feels that there is no way to escape her father but to kill herself, but when she does her battle with life has just begun. As a middled aged man, I should be bored to tears reading a Young Adult novel, but this novel is different. Siren Suicides has kept me glued to my computer screen. I find the story to be solid and well written, that brought me back to my own childhood. The author, Ksenia Anske is different as well. A native of Russia, she escapes her own father and is now living in Washington state. With a haunting past she starting writing her first novel, Siren Suicides, as a way to heal. After a full year of writing her book is now ready for the world. In a couple of months Siren Suicides will be available on Amazon. Her next book is called Rosehead and I’m sure will be just as good as Siren Suicides. You can follow Ksenia on twitter @kseniaanske. I am proud and honored to have the opportunity to beta read Siren Suicides for Ksenia Anske. She is a very kind and wonderful lady. Her fiancée has to be the luckiest man on this planet.

The age of creativity, my thoughts on Geek and Sundry

g&s-link   Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Geek and Sundry. As a fan I adore all their shows and love their creative ways to make me think. Geek and Sundry has shown their power to bring the world together with International Table Top Day. People from all over the world came together on March 30,2013 to play games off-line and laugh with one another. Few other networks has done this. In the coming year Geek and Sundry will be introducing new web series and new ways to interact with their audience. I love it when an entertainment company does this. The founder of Geek and Sundry is Felicia Day, someone who is very warm and compassionate, has brought together hundreds of people to create for you. Those at Geek and Sundry proves to me that you don’t need to be a big media conglomerate to create something big, all you need is an idea and a bunch of good friends. They have inspired me to do something more in my life than just sit here alone wishing I had the talent. While I may not have 1/10th of the talent that Felicia Day has, I have ideas. If you were to create a company like Geek and Sundry, what type of shows would you have. Till’ next time, don’t be afraid to create a new world.

BTW, please go to Geek and Sundry and subscribe to all there channels. You wont regret it as they are a bunch of great people.

Fresh new look

Cryptision Media has a fresh look and a new mission. For the next few months, I will only concentrate on two things, writing and my electric violin build. Resources will be extremely tight, but this project will go forward. Till later, keep things unusual. :)
